I recently stayed at Casa Santa Marinha for a weekend trip. The communication with Ana was excellent and she even left a bottle of wine, coffee, and delicious Portuguese custard tarts for us. The location in Alfama was fascinating, with hilly streets and beautiful church bells at night. The apartment was small but well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and plenty of hot water. The English-speaking TV channels were a nice bonus, and the convenience store nearby was handy. a great stay!

The location is magnificent, around 10-15 minutes walk from a moorish castle. It's a short walk to coffee shops, restaurants, and the main city centre, historical part, and Alfama.
